Sports and Fitness Clubs in Menorca

Menorca is a fantastic place for enjoying lazy afternoons on the beach or by the pool, but for anyone seeking something a little more active, the island also has a huge range of more adventurous activities.  In addition to the various watersport facilities, there are many other activities available for both adults and children, as participants or as spectators. Well-prepared centres all around the island hire and give tuition in a range of watersports including windsurfing, scuba diving and sailing.

Hire your own sailing boat, with or without skipper, and navigate the clear, enticing waters.  Parascending is perhaps for the more adventurous but well worth the effort. The islands' one and only golf course, in Son Parc, is well managed and, aside from beautifully kept greens, offers good restaurant facilities and wide open and covered terraces for spectators. Tennis courts are also widely available and all have equipment for hire. 

Horse riding, trotting races and equestrian shows are becoming increasingly popular, or try your hand at green bowls or cricket. The cricket club was built by and is expertly run by British ex-pats.  Play yourself or watch the locals play against visiting teams. In some of the more popular resorts football matches are often organized between visitors and locals.
